This comprehensive A750 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is designed for Toyota and Lexus vehicles from 2003 onwards, equipped with A750, A760, A761, A960, and AB60 series automatic transmissions. Owners often report issues such as shuttle shifts, bind-up or flare during the 2-3 shift, slips in 3rd and/or 4th gear under throttle, various solenoid and TCC performance codes, and rough kickdown at highway speeds due to delayed TCC release.

Key concerns include the wear of the TCC relay valve bore, leading to the computer's inability to control the lock-up's apply slippage and release rate. Additionally, wear in the TCC control valve and bushing can cause lock-up control issues. Another critical area is the solenoid modulator valve bore wear, which affects the regulation of pressure to the solenoids, impacting shift quality, solenoid performance, and gear ratio codes, along with fluctuating main line pressure.
